The character of this Lugana DOC comes from one of the warmest winters on record, which brought an early vegetative awakening, a spring alternating heavy rains and dry spells, and a hot, dry summer that challenged the vineyards. The grapes harvested at the end of September were healthy, concentrated, and aromatic. The 2024 Lugana DOC Centofilari displays a bright straw-yellow color with golden highlights, a bouquet of flowers and fruit with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, ripe apple, and peach. On the palate, it is mineral and pleasantly savory, versatile and well-suited to a variety of food pairings.
This Lugana is named after the vineyard Centofilari located south of Lake Garda – where its Turbiana and Chardonnay grapes are grown. Vinification takes place in stainless steel, with contact with lees for three months to fully express its aromatic potential.

climate trend
In 2024, the Lugana area experienced an unusual climatic year. The 2023–2024 winter was among the warmest on record, with above-average temperatures that triggered an early vegetative awakening. Spring alternated between heavy rainfall and dry spells, promoting rapid vine growth but also increasing the pressure of fungal diseases. Summer, marked by heatwaves and scarce precipitation, posed a significant challenge for the vineyards. Despite these difficulties, the grapes harvested at the end of September were healthy, promising a wine with good structure and ageing potential.
