WineHunter Award and Berliner Wine Trophy 2026: Cesari Wines Confirm Their Leading Role on the International Stage

New International Awards Confirm the Excellence of Cesari Wines

The international wine scene continues to recognize the dedication, vision, and unwavering pursuit of quality that guide Gerardo Cesari every day, from vineyard to cellar.

We are proud to share the latest awards received by some of the most representative wines in the Cesari portfolio, recognized by two prestigious international competitions: The WineHunter Award Collection 2026 and the Berliner Wine Trophy Summer Session 2026.

These results testify to our wines’ ability to interpret Valpolicella in an authentic and contemporary way, showcasing its many stylistic expressions while remaining deeply rooted in the territory.

The WineHunter Award Collection 2026: Double Gold for Cesari Amarone Wines

At the prestigious The WineHunter Award Collection 2026, two of our flagship labels were awarded the Gold distinction:

A double achievement that celebrates not only the quality of these individual vintages, but also the consistency of a winemaking project built over time.

Amarone Riserva Bosan 2017 is one of Cesari’s most iconic wines, embodying our vision of Amarone: a wine of remarkable structure and complexity, capable of expressing the richness and ageing potential of the Valpolicella Classica terroir.

Amarone Classico 2022, on the other hand, represents the denomination’s more contemporary soul, combining elegance and balance in a style that is immediately recognizable and appreciated.

Berliner Wine Trophy Summer Session 2026: Three Awards for the Cesari Portfolio

Further confirmation of the quality of our winemaking journey comes from the Berliner Wine Trophy Summer Session 2026, where three Cesari wines achieved important distinctions:

Particularly noteworthy is the Grand Gold awarded to Amarone Riserva Bosan 2017, a distinction reserved for wines that achieve the highest quality standards within the competition.

Alongside the two Amarone wines, the Gold medal awarded to Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore 2023 highlights one of the territory’s most versatile and appreciated expressions. A wine that combines stylistic precision, balance, and character, representing an important pillar of our wine portfolio.

One Vision, Multiple Expressions of Valpolicella

From the structure and longevity of Amarone Riserva Bosan to the elegance of Amarone Classico, and the freshness and approachability of Ripasso, these awards celebrate three distinct interpretations of Valpolicella.

This diversity of expressions perfectly reflects the Cesari philosophy: enhancing the territory through distinctive, recognizable wines capable of speaking to wine lovers and consumers around the world.

Each award is a confirmation of the daily work carried out in the vineyard and in the cellar, but above all an encouragement to continue evolving, vintage after vintage, keeping alive the dialogue between tradition and innovation that defines our Contemporary Soul.
