Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC Bosan 2020
Autumn was cold, with abundant snowfall, followed by a mild and dry winter with only a few particularly cold days and an adequate level of humidity. Spring recorded very low temperatures, especially in March, while summer was marked by heat and significant temperature fluctuations, with a peak of high temperatures at the end of July and an intense hailstorm at the end of August.
Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Bosan 2020 shows a rounded profile with delicate spiciness and an intense violet color. On the nose, it stands out for its complexity, offering notes of red fruits and spiced cherries. The palate is full and well-balanced, with a finish where a gentle acidity is softened by hints of cocoa and roasted coffee.

The vineyard
Bosan wines are born from a single vineyard located nearby the town of Marano di Valpolicella, at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level.
This area, remarked by terraced vineyards trained in the ‘pergola Veronese’ system, features a limestone soil of volcanic origin and ideal exposure.
All these elements come together to create dynamic, elegant, and distinctive wines, such as the Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOCG Bosan.
