This historic single vineyard features terraced, pergola-trained vines rooted in volcanic-calcareous soils, enjoying the perfect exposure for cultivating Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes.

The crown jewel of this micro-terroir is undoubtedly Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva Bosan. This award-winning cru thrives on Marano’s cool, breezy microclimate, which preserves the essential acidity needed for the longevity of our historic Amarone vintages.

To honor the legacy of this vineyard and its unique relationship with time, we established the Caveau Bosan in 2024. This dedicated cellar room within our Fumane winery (just a short drive from Verona) safeguards an exclusive historic library of over 10.000 bottles, spanning from the debut 1997 vintage to the recent 2015 and 2016 releases. Beyond protecting our most precious bottles as they mature, this private space welcomes guests for truly memorable tasting experiences.

Visiting Caveau Bosan: The Heart of the Bosan Experience

Collecting a great red wine without tasting its evolution would be an incomplete journey. That is why our Fumane winery, beautifully redesigned in 2021, hosts curated hospitality paths tailored for fine wine lovers.

The pinnacle of the Cesari guest experience is the Bosan Experience. Created for discerning collectors and anyone wishing to dive deep into the world of this iconic cru, this tasting offers exclusive access to our private Caveau.

The journey begins where the wine is born, among the vine rows of Marano di Valpolicella, moves through the Cesari Grape Drying Loft , and culminates in the heart of the cellar. Surrounded by vintage Amarone library selections, you will enjoy a private tasting guided by our winemaker, featuring our Valpolicella Classico Superiore, Ripasso Superiore, and, naturally, the Amarone Riserva—all born from the Bosan vineyard.
